“These energetic images have a fresh, immediate quality and were created by accomplished graphic designer Teresa Hopkins. She was inspired by the early 1900’s Arts and Crafts movement when she developed these appealing and direct images. The illustrations may be used small or large and are suitable for a wide variety of purposes including advertisements and brochures. ‘Radicals’ include a wide variety of household items, furniture, fruit, sports symbols, ornaments and shapes.
“Teresa Hopkins applied an Arts and Craft Movement aesthetic to modern household item for her Radicals set. To me, the font’s spare style bring to mind the animated opening to films of the early ’60s. It’s hard to describe exactly but I hear Henry Mancini music when I look at these pictures. They feature a mix of heavy and light line, which are often jagged. A nice rendition of a certain style.”
